NDC TEIN 1.5.11

TEIN is the tertiary student's wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Its roots trace back to the University Students Network of the NDC, which first emerged in 1992 at KNUST and later evolved into TEIN. The official establishment of TEIN across all tertiary institutions in Ghana, unified under the umbrella name, occurred in 1994 under the leadership of Hon. E.T. Mensah, who was the National Youth Organizer of the NDC at the time. TEIN serves as an intellectual entity within the NDC's Youth Wing. Dr. Rashid Pelpuo was appointed as the inaugural President of TEIN at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), alongside other trailblazers at the University of Ghana (UG).
